What kind of fabric is crepe? What are the uses of crepe?​​​Crepe, also known as crepe, is a thin plain cotton fabric with uniform longitudinal wrinkles. Its characteristic is that the warp direction uses general cotton yarn, and the weft direction uses strong twist yarn. The warp density of the fabric is greater than the weft density. After weaving into grey fabric, the loose dyeing and finishing process shortens the weft direction by about 30%, thus forming uniform wrinkles. The material used is pure cotton or polyester cotton.

This kind of fabric has a cool and soft touch and good elasticity, and also has excellent air permeability. The crepe fabric is suitable for four seasons.
